Question: What's the difference between a Tier 1 and Tier 2 RSO?
Answer: Tier 1 RSOs typically require fewer resources, such as only needing meeting spaces. Tier 2 RSOs require more resources, like large event spaces, travel and conference fees, etc.

Question: When is the next RSO Registration and Re-registration period?
Answer: The RSO Registration and Re-registration application will be open January 23rd - 29th, 2023. Requirements must be completed by February 5th, 2023.

Question: Can I have GMU or Mason in my RSO name?
Answer: No, unfortunately, RSOs cannot have "GMU", "Mason", or "George Mason university" in their name unless it is "...at George Mason University" or "...at Mason". For example, "Basket Weaving at Mason".

Question: What is the RSO Lead Team?
Answer: The RSO Leadership Team (RSO LT) is made up of experienced student leaders selected to provide resources for student organizations and advocate for their peers. The RSO LT is responsible for meeting the needs of RSOs, serving as liaisons to RSOs for Student Involvement, and inform RSOs on involvement opportunities, policies, and procedures.
